Video slot produced by Konami Gaming
Perhaps out of all the new slots to appear in Vegas over the past year, Vibrant sevens is one of the most exciting. In the space of just a few months this game has became a Vegas favorite and this has inspired Konami to rush out several new versions this year as quickly as they could to meet demand.
Many casino slot fans have told me they were not that impressed with older slots from Konami, but that this one has instantly become their favorite game in the whole of Vegas.
You can tell how popular this game has become by the number of new games Konami have released since this one launched - all of them very similar in theme. Similar games include diamond spinner slots, vibrant roses slots, action stacked sevens, african diamond, rawhide slots, secrets of Egypt, enchanted spinner, gigantic sevens and rawhide slots (one of my favorites). In fact, the list goes on and on...
The bonus is hit if you line up 5 green sevens on a pay-line. You then play a 'Number Bonus Game' which is very much like bingo, if you make lines on the bingo card, you move up the progressives ladder and if you complete the full bingo card you get the maximum jackpot possible.
This bonus feature game is so much fun and so compelling, I found myself playing again and again and the nice thing was that other people sat at machines next to me almost always to the time to chat with me and talk about how great this game was (even if they were losing, which of course is the most common scenario). Any game that gets fellow player chatting has to be good
The great news is that with vibrant sevens you can actually win the progressive if you bet 35 cents per spin. That is a whole lot better than so many other slots out there in Vegas where if you want to win the big one, you will have to plough in $3 per spin.
Personally, I try not to play any slot with jackpots unless I can win the jackpot on 50c per spin. So, vibrant sevens gets the thumbs up on that one and for me it was great, the first time I played I tool over $200 on a 35 cent spin.
In fact, I managed to hit the mega jackpot a couple of times ($120 and then $180 the second time), so I know it can be done on this 35c (25c basic bet + 10c top up). I didn't hit the biggest jackpot ($1300), but I'll save that one until next time
