Super Times Pay Video Poker

Another variant of video poker from IGT. This is a pretty nice one, because it gives additional interest, but without affecting the game odds and tactics, like with some new variants like peek and play video poker. Basically, for the price of a 6th coin, you get a random multiplier of between 2x and 5x pay.

Some machines may pay up to 10x multiplier. The best thing is, i won't involve learning a whole new philosophy to the game.

Super times pay video poker

This one gives you an occasional multiplier card on bathe deal. So, one of the card being dealt will suddenly show the 'times pay' symbol and will start to rotate, giving you between 2x and 10x for your hand(s).

This 'times pay' card then transform into a regular card and you play the game as normal, but knowing you are going to get a multiplier on all of your played hands.

The feature card does not appear too often, but when I played it, I got it often enough to keep me wanting to play.

As with a lot of the newer video poker games, the machine is super bright, with a crisp clear screen and nice buttons, but at the same time, it retains all the original timing and sounds that we all know and love. Good to see.

It will be interesting to see which, if any, of the new video poker machines become popular over the months and years to come. Will we take to the fusion between video game and video poker, games with bonus rounds and features over pure poker play? 

I guess that only time will tell, but it can say that the 10 minutes or so I spent playing super times pay video poker, I really enjoyed it.
